v2026.32.1 (8)
- A Post Knows Where It Is
When you post, you now say what the place is: here, where you are standing; a place you tag; or a government you are speaking to. The forum it files under is decided by the boundary, not by the name you typed, so everyone in the same town lands in the same room. A post from here keeps its pin inside your town — never on a wrong street, never outside the line — and you choose whether it shows on the Ark at all. A thread inherits the place of the post it grows from.
- Every Boundary Is Somewhere You Can Go
Parks, reservations, consolidated city-counties like San Francisco and the five boroughs, counties, states, countries: tap any boundary on the Ark and it opens as a forum with a scorecard. A city whose forum the app does not hold yet files under its county for now, and the Local tab says so plainly.
- Ask Yon
Yon opens on a set of scopes instead of a blank box. Pick what you want it to read, and it writes what it found in its own words — a conclusion first, then the evidence — and you can ask a follow-up. It finishes its sentences now.
- Laws Beside The Grade
A Laws layer puts the actual record next to your scorecard: what each of your four governments has passed, ordered by the date it displays, with the source. An empty list says why it is empty.
- The Ground Under The Map
A Surface Geology layer, with a key that reads differently as you zoom, so the rock under a place is one more thing the record can hold.
- The Scorecard Belongs To A Quarter
Grades now belong to a quarter and settle at its end. You can back a verdict on your town with Credits (✦): anyone may back a side, the town’s residents decide which side won, and a question too few people took part in refunds everyone. Same free play Credits as the Smart Forum, same 18+ rule, no cash value — and the amount you can back is capped so one voice cannot own a question.
- Grades Remember Who Cast Them, Anonymously
A grade now carries an anonymous snapshot of the area its grader said they live in and any optional details they chose to share, so a town’s grades can be read as residents against visitors. Changes of mind are kept, not overwritten. Delete your account and the link to you is destroyed for good; the anonymised record stays. The Privacy Policy says all of this, and everyone is asked to agree to it once.
- Identity Is Not For Sale
The verified badge is earned by disclosure and cannot be bought; a subscription, when one exists, will buy tools only. The paid card no longer promises anything the app does not do.
- Fixes
Grading in the previous build failed to save after a server change; fixed. The Terms and Privacy links inside the age gate did nothing on an iPhone; they now open the text in place. An account that had applied for business verification could not be deleted; it can, and a deletion that fails now says so. Your Credits appear the moment your date of birth is on file. The Here tab refuses a location fix too coarse to trust. Help describes the app that ships.
