OuterTalk is a record of what real people believe, about history and the news, on a map of the world. It is made by OuterTalk LLC. Here is who we are, what OuterTalk is and isn't, and how to reach us.

In plain words

What OuterTalk is, and what it isn't

It is

  • An iPhone app. It is free on TestFlight today.
  • A place to say what you think about the news and history, and see where real people land.
  • A map of the world. We call it the Ark. Every poll and post has a place on it.
  • A forum for every place. Every town, county, state and country has its own.

It isn't

  • Not gambling or betting. The Smart Forum is a play-money opinion game for adults (18+).
  • Not real money. Credits are free and have no cash value. You can't buy them, cash them out, or trade them.
  • Not a prediction market. The answer backed by the most Credits wins. No real-world event decides it.
  • Not a judge of truth. Consensus isn't truth, and we never say it is.

OuterTalk LLC is run by its founder. A contract development team builds the app with us.

What we promise

Five things we hold ourselves to

  • Real people, not bots.
  • Consensus isn't truth. OuterTalk shows what people believe and the context around it. It doesn't decide what's true.
  • AI is labeled. Yon is our built-in AI guide. Anything AI makes is clearly marked.
  • Reports get answered. Report any post or block any user in a tap. Our team acts on reports within 24 hours.
  • Plans are marked as plans. If something isn't in the app yet, we say so.
